A/B and Multivariate Testing – Vendors, Tools and Resources

A/B and multivariate testing are eye-opening ways to listen to the voice of your customers. These are the people whose behaviors love to mock even the smartest marketer. When in doubt, test is the dogma of the numbers inclined. Here are some tools, suppliers and resources to get you started.

Offermatica

  • In addition to being a vendor, Offermatica has some good resources to get yourself up to speed on running good tests.

Google Website Optimizer

  • GWO, for short, links into AdWords and Google Analytics and is… free. Not sure what to do? Try testing it!

Optimost

  • Yet another experiment software provider, they’re also a consultant for Google Website Optimizer.

Sitespect

  • Sitespect is another MVT tool, but is not a Javascript solution, so there no coding change need (as explained in the demo).

Widemile

  • A new website testing platform whose point of differentiation is full service offerings under one roof.

Vertster

  • Granted, this site is straight out of 1997, but it’s always good to have options at different price points.

Kefta

  • Purchased in 2007 by Axciom, this tool is not strictly MVT focused. It also includes cross-channel behavioral targeting and optimization.

Memetrics

  • Memetrics does both landing page optimization and cross-channel multivariate testing. Their list of marketing resources has some useful articles.

Jonathan Mendez’s Slides

AdLucent

  • A search company that has a landing page optimization product.

TaguchiNow

  • A collection of Taguchi testing based consultants, not a program.

SplitAnalyzer

  • A cheap tool to help you run A/B tests based on PHP.

Maxymiser

  • They offer a full suite of A/B, multivariate testing and behavioral targeting tools.

ATG Campaign Optimizer

  • Split testing for promotions, products and site design as part of ATG’s ecommerce platform.

Amadesa

  • Amadesa’s point of differentiation is combined testing with on-site behavioral targeting.
