What Is An RSS Feed And How Do I “Subscribe”?

For those of you who don’t know, RSS stands for really simple syndication. For blogs, it lets readers (that’d be you) subscribe to my blog and receive content directly through an RSS reader like Google Reader or BlogLines. Basically, instead of having to visit dozens of sites each day, the content is aggregated for you in one place.

Even though people use the word “subscribe”, it’s always totally free, just like reading the content on the site. If this is your first time, don’t worry it’s pretty easy, so get started with by clicking this link to subscribe.

See that orange button to the right? That’s the universal icon to indicate an RSS feed is available (which will help you subscribe to more blogs).

Do you prefer email over RSS? Not a problem, just enter your email address in the field and press the “Subscribe” button. Don’t worry, you won’t be spammed.
